  1. I was a little shocked by the story about the mom who left her kids on the side of the road. I was even more shocked about how differently people acted when the kids looked rich. I really thought more people would've done something no matter what they looked like. I was kind of expecting the outcomes of the other scenario about the woman who was being abused. I figured that more people would help when she wasn't dressed inappropriately.

  2. I found the scenario about the women who looked like they were being abused shocking. I was humbled to see how quickly people responded to the women when they were dressed modestly, but I was disappointed and hurt when the women were put in the same situation in more revealing clothing and no one helped them. No matter the race nor the way people are dressed should affect how they are treated by society. Abuse is abuse no matter what and it happens every day. People always say that if they saw something happening to someone in public they would do something about it, but in reality, people will only do something based on how you look. If I had the chance to save a women from her abuser, stranger or not, in modest dress or not, I would because if I didn't and I saw her face on the news the next day, I would feel guilty for not doing something even though I could have.

  3. When I watched this particular scenario I was quite confused. Not confused on what was going on but confused why it mattered what class you were and if in that class you can treat your child terribly. To me being abused or not is black or white and it should not matter what social class you are in. Even though i hoped that everyone would help the kids, some people are just too afraid to stand up for what is right and that is not right. No matter what happends i would have felt bad if i was put in that situation and i would not have done anything.

  4. When I watched the video where the woman left her children on the street I was completely shocked. I can't believe that people would walk by and not help the children out just because the woman was dressed in a wealthier outfit. Her appearance shouldn't matter at all. The kids could've been there all alone all night and those people would've just let it happen all because they thought she was in a higher class then them. That is completely ridiculous. I would never under any circumstances walk by something like that. They may not be my kids, but they have a right to safety.

  5. I was shocked when I saw that people just passed up the children on the street. It was good that they comforted the two girls and made them feel safe when they looked like middle class people. But it shouldn't make a difference how the family is dressed or how much money they have. I would never just disregard two little girls that are alone.

  6. The video about the mother leaving her children on the street was a little extreme. I don't think hardly anyone would do that these days. People wouldn't risk going to jail over that. It was also shocking that some people would just pass by the kids. It shouldn't matter what type of person they are, they are just kids.

  7. The women that looked like they were being abused was a very interesting scenerio. It made me mad to see the people judge the women when they were dressed inapropiately. If i were in that situation then i wouldnt think about what the women were dressed like. No woman should be treated that way no matter what.

  8. I thought the scenario where the mother left her kids on the street was awful. I can't believe that it actually happened in real life. I was glad to see the protective shield that the nice people put around the children, but I was really disappointed when not many people tried to help the wealthier kids. It doesn't matter what class people are in. People should always try to help innocent children.

  9. i think i was most shocked about the woman who left her children on the side of the road. I was most shocked because you dont see that every day that someone leaves thier children on the side of the road to teach them " a lesson ." i think i would be one of the people who would stay with the kids and comfort them until someone came and got them. i dont think that class matter when it comes to children. The children cant help what the parents do/act/look like.

  10. I thought the worst of the three scenarios was the woman leaving her kid on the side of the road. As someone who takes their brothers and sisters places alot, it can be really frustrating when they are fighting in the backseat and aren't listening. I do not think that i could ever leave my kids on the side of the road though. Thats negligence and I know that I would be a better parent then that.

  11. I think that the scenerio where the abused woman was the most interesting. I think it is crazy how peoples reactions changed when the woman changed her clothes. I think that if i were put into the situation that i would stand up for the girl no matter what she was wearing. No woman should ever be put into that situation. any man who hits a woman is a coward.

  12. I think that the woman leaving her children is unaccpetable. They do not know any beter and she needs to be a good mother and nuture her kids. Bad behvaior do not constitute abandoning your kids. If she has issues then she needs to deal with the in an appropriat and safe manner.
